BOWIE (breaking) GLASS

An Official Symphonic Experience Coming May 2027 | World Premiere: Østre Gasværk Teater in Copenhagen

BOWIE (breaking) GLASS is a new, official live symphonic concert production, developed by Schirmer Theatrical and Østre Gasværk Teater, bringing David Bowie’s iconic songs and voice into a bold new musical and visual dialogue with Philip Glass.

The concert production features Bowie’s original recordings alongside live vocalists, musicians and orchestra, with beloved songs including “Space Oddity,” “Sound and Vision” and “Life on Mars?” heard as never before. With new arrangements by Paul Leonard-Morgan, a longtime collaborator of Philip Glass, and a striking projection design utilizing the Bowie archives, BOWIE (breaking) GLASS creates a dynamic visual world around the music of two visionary artists.
